Racing games

Hello,

Christmas is coming nearer and so I'm wondering whether I could find
a new game for my son.  When searching the Web I found at

        http://www.linuxnetmag.com/en/issue4/m4racer1.html

a test of those Games available for Linux.  Unfortunately most of the
promissing projects are dead upstream.  I think that's a shame and I
wonder if somebody could step in here and could conserve those promissing
stuff into a Debian package which would make it more popular and might
give them new life.

Any comments?
