Hello, I had exactly the same problem when upgrading lenny to squeeze, but with the package junior-games-gl I think that the reason /etc/blends/blends.conf doesn't exist is that blends-common is being installed at the same time that junior-games-gl is upgraded, and when junior-games-gl replacement is unpacked blends-common has been unpacked, but not yet configured. As far as I know, if junior-games-gl (or junior-toys) needs blends-common to be fully configured BEFORE junior-games-gl gets upgraded, then this one must PRE-DEPEND on the other, not just depend on it. I see junior-games-gl depends on junior-config, which in turn depends on blends-common. Probably, junior-config should pre-depend on blends-common and this bug should be assigned to junior-config. I hope this information will help to solve the problem. Thanks for your great work at Debian.
