I think that for the time being Debian (and other Linux distributions) should do nothing towards implementing this dangerous legislation. https://reason.com/2026/03/04/computer-scientists-caution-against-internet-age-verification-mandates/ I expect that it will be either overturned or unenforced in the United States, at least in the short run.
