Package: sponsorship-requests Severity: important Dear mentors, I am looking for a sponsor for my package "softether-vpn": * Package name : softether-vpn Version : 5.2.5188+dfsg-1 Upstream contact : Daiyuu Nobori <[email protected]> * URL : https://www.softether.org/ * License : Apache-2.0 * Vcs : https://salsa.debian.org/debian/softether-vpn Section : net The source builds the following binary packages: softether-vpnserver - multiprotocol VPN program (server daemon) softether-vpnclient - multiprotocol VPN program (client) softether-vpncmd - multiprotocol VPN program (command-line tools) softether-vpnbridge - multiprotocol VPN program (bridge daemon) softether-common - multiprotocol VPN program (common files) To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL: https://mentors.debian.net/package/softether-vpn/ Alternatively, you can download the package with 'dget' using this command: dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/s/softether-vpn/softether-vpn_5.2.5188+dfsg-1.dsc Additional information: The package builds successfully in clean chroot environments for both Debian Trixie and Forky. It is fully Lintian-clean, and compatibility levels have been bumped to debhelper-compat (= 14) and Standards-Version to 4.7.4. Note on versioning: The upstream release version on GitHub is 5.2.5188, which is used for this package. However, upstream hardcodes "5.02.${BUILD_NUMBER}" inside CMakeLists.txt for internal reasons. This discrepancy is known upstream and does not affect the build or functionality. Changes since the last upload: softether-vpn (5.2.5188+dfsg-1) unstable; urgency=medium . * New maintainer (Closes: #1030780) * New upstream version builds fine with GCC 14; FTBFS no longer reproducible (Closes: #1075525). Regards,
