Most of Frans's contributions have been working on translations. In order to consider his readiness, I confirmed that Frans: * Understands our philosophy and procedures well enough to be involved in Debian governance and to explain Debian to others. * Understands the BTS and some packaging issues enough to interact with the BTS and to help others in the project. * Understands our translation and documentation efforts well enough to mentor others and to talk about how these efforts could improve.
