Legal Case Management software for not-for-profit legal advice centres http://www.lcm.ngo-bg.org/en The legal case management (LCM) system is a software aimed for use by not-for-profit legal advice centres in order to make better follow-ups of their cases, including client consultations and court events. This project is a community free software initiative. Feel free to join the team, to download/test the software or support our project by contributing to its development! Legal Case Management software team presents the first public release Thursday 4th November 2004 by Mathieu Lutfy The first release of the Legal Case Management system has been published on November 1st 2004 on Source Forge, as a symbolic step to start the testing and translation process of the software. A list of features which have been included into this release is available in the LCM ChangeLog. This first LCM release includes basic functionalities for managing cases, clients, organisations and follow-ups. It also includes an easy to use installation tool and it allows administrators to setup a policy on collaborative work. Future releases of LCM will include a more polished and more intuitive user interface, a higher level of personalisation and basic reporting and archiving facilities for administrators. We encourage the community to test and review the software at an early stage so that we can quickly integrate the feedback from their experience. - A public website is available for testing and review: www.lcm.ngo-bg.org/public/ - The source code of the software can be downloaded from the LCM project page on Source Forge. Weekly bulletins will be sent to the testers mailing-lists to keep them informed of software’s new features, bugs found and fixed, etc. If you are interested, you can subscribe to one of the following lists: - In English: lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/legalcase-testers-en - In Bulgarian: lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/legalcase-testers-bg To communicate with the programming team and management, write to legalcase-core-TtF/[email protected] Background: The Legal Case Management system is a free software initiative of the Internet Rights Bulgaria Foundation (IRBF) made possible with the financial support of the Open Society Institute.
