I personally think upstream bugs belong upstream and have no place here.

Playing proxy just doesn't make sense, since the submitter knows best what is the issue. Especially for bugs like this which are not RC anyway, so no need to fix it before upstream does (or not..)

(BTW, which checkbox? Please don't tell me you use a graphical thingy not even showing the bug presubj text. That at least would explain your reports...)
