I disagree with you. If there is an upstream check box, there is a reason. As far as I remember, it was not here when I first filed bugs. A proxy filters bad reports (oopsie), dupes… A proxy knows the package, its bugs, features and so on, better than a simple user like me, even if I report bugs since a long time in Debian (and some of them might not be perfectly reported or written, of course). > (BTW, which checkbox?
