Thanks for your thoughts, I took the opportunity of forwarding
the change upstream [1] to also drop a word about the practice
of reexporting.  We may see what is their opninion, at least in
the context of the BioPerl codebase.  My own impression right
now is that they could consider the reexport as part of their
API, therefore keeping the exports for now.  Of course, I may be
wrong about this.  I'm just guessing.
