I also think the Bullseye LTS announcements has to many technical details and is not well user oriented. For e.g. why isn't www.debian.org/lts/security listed? IMO this is a much better sources of information than just pointing to https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/ for LTS security information. I myself don't know where I could find all the LTS specific information. "If you happen to spot an error in the data, please see.." shouldn't be in an announcement, or only for the advanced users. Maybe it's possible to split the information inside the announcement mail. One part for normal (end) users of LTS, and move some information into a developers (or advanced users) section. This would help our users to find the relevant information they need. regards Thomas >>>>> On Fri, 7 Jun 2024 16:56:06 -0300, Santiago Ruano Rincón <[email protected]> said: > Dear Publicity, Localization and Internationalization Teams, > I've added to the publicity-team/announcements repository two > announcements, the first for Buster LTS reaching EOL, and the second for > Bullseye moving over LTS: > [Buster LTS EOL] https://salsa.debian.org/publicity-team/announcements/-/blob/master/en/2024/20240614-buster-lts-eol.wml > [Bullseye LTS] https://salsa.debian.org/publicity-team/announcements/-/blob/master/en/2024/20240814-bullseye-lts-begins.wml > The date of the last bullseye point release, in the Buster LTS EOL > announcement, is still to be determined.
