My only thought was that it would be even better value (but a lot more work!) if the message also said what the people are going to do in Debian - eg what packages/teams/languages/activities they are contributing to, --- eg * A. N Other (anon), maintianing the blah package and part of the kernel team * Winson Smith (pson), helping translate Debian into newspeak that kind of thing. would add a bit more of a human element...
