Hi Christian, Thanks for reaching out to us. I am not quite sure your suggestion for an item to be published by the press/publicity team is suitable as-is. As can be seen on https://micronews.debian.org/ , our micronews items are, as the name says :) , small. Your suggested text size would be more suitable for https://bits.debian.org/ . Or---and I guess better---would be to drastically shrink the text. Also: please do not assume the readers know that "Back In Time" is software for doing file backup; so please add some words to explain that. Do you have time to adjust your text with these hints? Thanks, Bye, Joost On Mon, Mar 03, 2025 at 12:54:40PM +0000, [email protected] wrote: > Hello, I kindly ask if you would publish this news item to your micro news > service. > > Hello, > As member of the upstream maintenance team of Back In Time [1] project, > please allow me to announce the second release candidate [2] preparing for > version 1.5.4 targeting the upcoming Debian 13 Trixie. > > https://github.com/bit-team/backintime/releases/tag/v1.5.4-rc2 > > Please report if you use it even if there are no new problems.
