Both issues have been addressed/resolved. 1. Upstream resolved the licensing ambiguity in version 1.3.1 and now pyproject.toml correctly declares LGPL-2.0-or-later, and a COPYING.LESSER file has been added. 2. I've switched the tests to what you suggested and removed the test script. Note: I have changed d/watch to use the GitHub source as the PyPI release did not include a source tarball.
