Request to join the team

Hello,

I would like to join the Debian Python team.

 1. I am working on a new package and intend to later set the team as
    maintainer and myself as uploader. (ITP:
    https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1143817)
 2. I have submitted ITA on a recently-abandoned package python-petl
    (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1142617) , which
    is also currently managed by the team in Salsa
