This is another long-standing issue that has been bugging me

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
I use Dolphin to move files around.

   * What was the outcome of this action?
The window height decreases the more I use Dolphin

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
The window size should remain the same unless I explicitely change it.
