  Well QCoan is a plain Qt program, not a KDE app, but Yes I am
running KDE apps on that PIV. You have to use

  I have put that at the beginning into my /etc/lxdm/Xsession,
so that I do not always have to start from console exporting an
environment variable. I want to access these apps from the start
menu of the GUI and thus the variable needs to be defined for
the whole X-session.
