This looks similar to https://lists.mindrot.org/pipermail/openssh-unix-dev/2025-October/042192.html, and in a reply to that Damien suggested a patch which I'm about to cherry-pick for a different reason (https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3877). Could you please test 1:10.1p1-2 when it's available and let us know if that works better? Thanks,
