I'm on the way to move some/all(?) package repositories back from github 
to salsa. IMHO Debian packages should be better on Debian infrastructure.

We got Debian #1129629, telling that the d/copyright file of texinfo is 
incomplete. Currently I don't really have to time to care about. I'm 
pretty sure the process can be automated somehow (at least the quality 
check can). Please check the Debian Wiki, if there are tools for that 
and eventually ask the Debian mentors list. Are you willing to take over?
