Do you not think that the same fear should be valid in the context of FTP team as well?

As previous trainees have pointed out, there's a learning curve. If experienced members
of the team leave (or are asked to leave) all of a sudden, it'd be problematic for new
folks to ramp up quickly and get things running.

What you propose sounds like a forceful removal of certain individuals from the team.
This may as well have a domino effect where remaining (non-toxic) members of the
team don't like the use of force and end up resigning.

Since the FTP team is so central and affects multiple areas in Debian, authoritatively re-structuring
this team (or any other Debian team for that matter) by the DPL does not sound like a very wise move.
