I am aware of this expectation and I am OK with that. Till recently, I
used to travel inside India for more than 10 days a month for Debian and
Free Software events. Being DPL,  the difference would be that the
travel will be international. But I do have concerns about visa
complications.

I am aware of this too, and this year I think this started even before
the election. I am mentally prepared to be criticized and scrutinized
for everything I say (or not say) and do (or not do). I would be always
open to constructive criticisms and will be open to change when I am
wrong. All along, I will focus on saying and doing only what I believe
is good for Debian.

I do not want to be overconfident and say I can meet all the
expectations. But instead, I would say I would be striving to meet the
expectations and if there are some short-comings, I would try to rectify
along the way.
