I agree with this. The tools have become just too useful.

I think this would be true even if evolution of these tools stopped
today. They are just too good.

I don't see how the world is better of if we force ourselves to waste
our lives doing some laborious chore, when a tool can do it for me.

Just like we have compilers, so that we don't have to hand-write
assembly anymore.

(Agreeing with "AI assistance", I don't mean AI does all the work, but
is involved in some form or another, like: assisting research, aiding in
debugging, writing tests, and so on.)
