The point is, however, that both humans and LLMs produce far better code when specs, docs and tests *are* the foundation of the code instead of haphazardly written afterthoughts. I'd add, with some confidence based on my experience during the last couple of months, that the difference between spec'd and ad-hoc'd code (in quality as well as quantity) is a lot larger when LLMs write the code. -- -- regards -- -- Matthias Urlichs
