I take this to mean that you agree that the term is (somewhat) offensive.

I disagree with the argument that we need to use offensive terms to respond to 
arguments or actions we disagree with.  The best way to deal with such 
behavior and arguments is to use language which is precise but not offensive.

The Debian mailing list Code of Conduct endorses this:

“1. Be respectful

"In a project the size of Debian, inevitably there will be people with whom 
you may disagree, or find it difficult to cooperate. Accept that, but even so, 
remain respectful. Disagreement is no excuse for poor behaviour or personal 
attacks, and a community in which people feel threatened is not a healthy 
community."
