While I personally agree with many of the concerns expressed about what we've seen so far in the way of LLM-assisted contributions, the discussions here on debian-vote have made it clear to me that we are nowhere near having a project-wide consensus on how to treat "AI" in=20 Debian. That probably means a GR is premature, though discussing one may indeed be the only way to advance our collective understanding of the issues. If this GR goes to a vote soon, I am highly likely to vote any proposal that does not allow per-maintainer or per-team decision making below further discussion.
