Indeed you aren't, and a similar stunt was equally seen as tastless by
several people a week or so ago.

My cynical takeaway is that it may feel less important to build
community when one gets a slave yes-chatbot to talk to, which may or may
not be what is going on, but I take it as another data point of what
kind of social direction a fully-AI-enhanced Debian may be likely to
take
