  This library provides access to the HTTP SDK API exposed by Amcrest cameras
  and related Dahua firmware devices.

  It talks directly to network cameras and network video recorders over their
  HTTP endpoints. It can query device and software information, retrieve
  snapshots, capture audio, record real-time video streams, and send pan, tilt,
  and zoom control commands where the device offers those functions.

  The package also includes command-line and text user interface tools for
  working with configured cameras.

This library is a dependancy of Home Assistant, the Python smart home platform.
I plan to maintain it as part of the Home Assistant team.
