Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Josep Bigorra <[email protected]> X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected], [email protected] * Package name : lambdock Version : 0.3.6 Upstream Contact: Josep Bigorra <[email protected]> * URL : https://codeberg.org/jjba23/lambdock * License : GPL3+ Programming Lang: C + GNU Guile Description : Wayland desktop dock customizable with GNU Guile Scheme Lambdock is a Wayland-native desktop dock built with GTK4 and gtk4-layer-shell. It features dynamic window tracking using the Wayland foreign toplevel management protocol, customizable CSS theming, fluid slide-out auto-hiding, multi-monitor placement, and an embedded GNU Guile Scheme engine for live configuration, extensibility, and REPL interaction. This package will be useful for people using Wayland compositors, window managers, also Plasma desktop, etc. Other packages like Plank or Cairo Dock provide similar functionalities, but don't have the same extensibility and configurability as lambdock, as well as the power of having a REPL with GNU Guile Scheme. As for maintaining the Debian package, I plan to personally do this, although since I am more of a GNU Guix user, I would extremely appreciate a sponsor and help, as this is my first time upstreaming a package to Debian.
