nvidia driver on Debian Stretch...

Hi...

I am running Debian testing on a system with a GeForce 8600GT GPU, using 
the proprietary driver nvidia-legacy-340xx-driver package.
Today, the update processus wants to remove that package from my machine...?

Any explanation as to why?
