it seems, some certificates are out of date:

cdimage.debian.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate
expired on August 14, 2017 at 11:13 PM. The current time is August 16, 2017
at 8:56 PM. Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE
