Why my cvs add aborted?

Thank for your help.
cvs -d :ext:[email protected]:/cvs/webwml checkout webwml
succeeded.

I edited a file korean/index.wml.
But
cvs add index.wml
aborted as follows. Help me, please.

sebul@sebulnet:~/webwml/webwml/korean$ cvs add index.wml
cvs [server aborted]: "add" requires write access to the repository
