Another possible solution would be, to stay at 8.11 with the tags in webwml, and solve the rest with symlinks on the image server: for LTS archs: symlink from 8.11 to 8.11.1 for non-LTS archs: symlink from 8.11 to 8.11.0 CC'ing Steve for his 'debian-cd' opinion on this.
