Some news about this.

I have committed a workaround for bug #959474 (issues with Chinese
language (all variants) when building some pages in buster) and review
all the other pending bugs that were blocking the migration of
www-master to buster.

Currently we're blocked by other bug:
Bug#924172: "differences under english/ between builds in stretch and
buster"

In particular, the sitemap  pages: they contain broken links when
built in buster. The /News/news.*.rdf files also provide a broken
link (to the CSS) but I have a workaround for that. Unfortunately this
workaround cannot be used in the sitemap pages.

I have updated the bug and I hope somebody can help soon.

Meanwhile, we would need these new dependencies to be added to the
.debian.org metapackage in buster:

python python-lxml  (bug 924137)
liblocale-codes-perl (bug 924143)

I'm not sure how to proceed with that, should I:
1.- provide a patch for
salsa.d.o/dsa-team/mirror/debian.org/blob/master/debian/control
2.-  wait until the machine is migrated to buster,
3.- any other idea?
