index.html: "No items" after list of news items

Hi,
looking at https://www.debian.org/index.html , I see the text "No items 
for this year." after the news items on the page. I would not expect 
this text to appear since there are news items from this year.

This looks like it happens in a call to "get_top_news" in 
https://salsa.debian.org/webmaster-team/webwml/-/blob/master/english/template/debian/recent_list.wml
