This is done now. debian-policy on debian.org/doc is fine as it is now. See commits 3462a061, a2262ec9 and ae8aa074 on https://salsa.debian.org/webmaster-team/cron/-/commits/master/parts/7doc?ref_type=heads So, we know now what is needed, to get it this far (aka: get the search function working and make the html theme work on big (desktop pcs) and small (smartphone) screens: We need javascript functionality from the packages libjs-sphinxdoc and libjs-jquery. Without these, the above funtions will not work. I brought it this far, to make sure of this fact. I will close this bug now. Whether javascript will stay active on debian.org website will need to be decided. I will follow up regarding this topic on https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=872944 Holger
