Package: www.debian.org Severity: normal Tags: patch Hello, This is the bug to properly request the restoration of the historic News items that were removed about 6 months ago in commits e92471ba and be8c189a, until the content is hosted permanently elsewhere and redirects are put in place to preserve the established URIs. See also discussion at <https://salsa.debian.org/webmaster-team/webwml/-/commit/e92471ba4917f0ec62d22e04229928e5531698f4>, <https://lists.debian.org/debian-project/2025/07/msg00007.html>, <https://lists.debian.org/debian-www/2025/07/msg00030.html>. Restorative MR is here: <https://salsa.debian.org/webmaster-team/webwml/-/merge_requests/1044> As I've wrote elsewhere, I am committed to working on a solution that satisfies the debian-www's team to simplify the present-day website, *and* preserve the old content and their established URIs, but I urge you to restore them in the meantime. Thank you!
