I discovered this issue while trying to run the game 'Dangerous Waters' via Steam. The game runs with extremely low performance because the system is stuck with llvmpipe instead of using the hardware acceleration. Performance impact: The game 'Dangerous Waters' runs at 15 FPS on this setup, whereas it achieves ~60 FPS on the same hardware under Windows 11. This confirmed performance drop, combined with 'glxinfo' output, clearly indicates that the system is failing to initialize hardware acceleration and is relying on software rasterization (llvmpipe). Note: The game 'Dangerous Waters' uses a 16-bit color depth.
