Hi Steffen, if I got it correctly, you want to do a FAI installation on this Cavium ThunderX based Gigabyte R120-T35. First I would try the FAI CD for arm which is available from https://fai-project.org/fai-cd/fai-small_6.2.5-arm64.iso It includes a much newer kernel, but hey an easy way to just give it a try. Then I can offer an ARM64 nfsroot at https://fai-project.org/download/misc/ Maybe you can install an old 4.19 kernel into this nfsroot and then try to recreate the initrd using dpkg-reconfigure dracut. -- best regards Thomas
