But it normally can be disabled. In POedit you can change this behavior in the "File" menu > "Settings" menu item > "Advanced" tab. You can unset "Wrap at" to completely disable line wrapping or use check "Preserve formatting of existing files" for what I think will not change the rest of the lines (not sure).
