Could you do us a favor and make sure kde-cvs-snapshot has the
following change on Dependency:

(>= libqt3.2.x....) and NOT (=libqt3....)

This really screws up deselect/apt-get when one wants to upgrade their
distribution of other applications.

P.S. Having done a --force-all to all packages of Andrea's and not
installing kde-cvs-snapshot, whilst running them against sid libqt3.2.3
runs and is not therefore interdependent upon a specific revision of
libqt.

The libqt from above has one major difference compared to the sid one.
It has been build against XFree-4.3 from experimental with Xrandr
support enabled. Orth started it that way and i just reused his source
debs. Xrandr support is probably not a major thing for most people. The
ability to change screen orientation on the fly is only usefull for
tablet pc's and maybe some very special LCD screens. Changing screen
size and refresh rate is nice, but not an absolute must-have.
So, i guess functionality would would not be reduce by much if the
packages where build against official qt debs.

all is true above. :-)

Anyhow, KDE-3.2 should IMHO be build against qt-copy (qt-3.3) from
kde-cvs, but i haven't seen a debianized version of it yet.

also: true :-) i got them here, already. as mentioned: i'm going to upload new
qt-copy (3_3_branch), arts (cvs_head), kdelibs (3_2_branch), kdebase
(3_2_branch) etc. today/tonight.

have fun,
muesli
