well, i'm updating the whole bunch of kde packages to the 3_2_branch, so 
there's actually nothing to worry about when updating: only bugfixes are 
allowed for this branch.

well, kontact crashes here on startup, too :-( although, kmail works fine.
i'm trying to recompile kdepim atm, so this hopefully might be fixed with the 
next update.
