WARNING: KFilterBase::findFilterByExtension : no filter found for text/plain

is maybe what you are referring to. I've no clue what KFilterBase is about. 
But I saw the same message as I piped something into kprinter. This one is 
from Konqueror just before he hangs, but I don't know what this filter thing 
is and as I've seen something being printed though this warning was shown I 
don't think there is a connection.
