Konqueror/KDesktop crash on right-click

Hi, I'm using the latest CVS debs and whenever I right click on a file in 
Konqueror or on the desktop or an HTML page in Konqueror, Konqueror crashes 
silently -- no crash dialog at all. Running from the command line I get the 
following error:

konqueror: relocation error: /usr/lib/libkdeinit_konqueror.so: undefined 
symbol: 
_ZN13KonqPopupMenuC1EP16KBookmarkManagerRK8QPtrListI9KFileItemERK4KURLR17KActionCollectionP8KNewMenuP7QWidgetjj

any ideas? I've tried running it with a fresh .kde directory but still get the 
same problem
