did you set the correct PKG_CONFIG_PATH before compiling? (you need gst-0.8=
,=20
not the old debian packages!)

if so, be sure to run gst-register-0.8 afterwards (as user).

the sound glitches are only valid for mp3, and are caused by arts. i'm=20
constantly trying to fix this issue, but couldnt find the solution till now.
