KPilot sync with Avantgo

Hi,

I'm having an odd problem here. I'm trying to sync my treo to Avantgo 
with KPilot. And nothing happens. It used to work long time ago, when 
kde 3.1.3 was running on my system. Then I disabled Malsync conduit 
because it slowed the sync down. Now I re-enabled it, it's not working 
as the output below shows.

I ran  malsync directly from command line and that was working

Any ideas on this one. Kpilot is 4.4.1 running on kde 3.2.2-99+cm. 
libmal0 is 0.31-2 and libmal1 is 0.40-3.
