I have used KDE 3.1.4 and it works fine, and yes there is a .qt dir in each
home directory. The problem IS with KDE 3.2 and/or qt3.2.1-6+orth.
Furthermore the problem is not the .qt directory but the .qt/qtrc file.

I have read in the main debian-kde list a message from Chris Cheney (last
October 16th) which I qoute:

[...concerning qt-designer...]

I have tried this workaround and it does not work either.

Has somebody noticed this problem lately, once upgraded?. Since I did not try
to install these packages before I do not know if it is new problem or a
local problem, althouth there is at least one person with the same problem
according to his message in this list.

thanks in advance,

Pablo de Vicente.
