is a really comprehensive and current list of available Debian installers
(incl. many live cdroms like Knoppix).
Installing Debian via Knoppix (or ist derivatives such as my Quantian) is
not a bad idea, but it has risks as the resulting system is not exactly
Debian. But the difference may be small enough, and enough people may be
going that route so that any serious post-installation woes should surface.
