Hi Chris, what you descibe is what I already have. But this method has 2 disadvantages: * after downloading an ISO, one must extract not only kernel and initrd, but also the KNOPPIX file from the ISO (which takes time and temprorary HD space) * one cannot easily switch between multiple ISOs on one HD Therefore, it would be great if one could boot the KNOPPIX file without extracting it from the ISO. LindowsLive can do that AFAIK. probono
