Booting from CD on a Toshiba Tecra A1

Hi Folks,

Just downloaded KNOPPIX V3.3 and tried to boot from the CD on a Toshiba
Tecra A1.  I tried both holding the "C" key while booting and then changed
the bios boot sequence to load from CD first.  Neither worked.  I received
an error message from the Intel bootloader about a "media failure" and then
the loptop booted to Windows XP Pro.

I know the CD is good because I can boot from it on my Dell Desktop.  Any
suggestions ............?
