I answer to myself. The image currently on the ftp mirrors has this md5sum:
8e9cd4d310ad8381d1ec3326c6caae2b *KNOPPIX_V3.4-2004-05-04-EN.iso
So it seems I got the old one :-(
However if the only difference is in the F2 screen, there is no need to
download the new one.
