Install. of knoppix 3.4

Hi everyone,

I have installed the last three versions of knoppix 3.4 on  pc's and 
there are two minor problems that keep coming back. A non-functioning 
mousewheel (ps2) when using knoppix with 2.6 kernel. And when I change 
the names of the harddisk-, cdrom- and floppy-icons as wel as changing 
the icons themselves, they are not saved. After the next reboot the 
original icons and names come back. I'm new with knoppix, how can I 
solve this?
